Swire | Beyond Fashion Teaser

As a video production team, we had the privilege to document the making of the highly-anticipated fashion photography exhibition “Beyond Fashion: 100 of Today’s Must-See Fashion Images Come to ArtisTree”. Presented by Swire Properties’ ArtisTree in partnership with the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography (FEP), the show brings over 100 fashion photographs and films by 48 celebrated photographers to ArtisTree, featuring fashion elites Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham and garments from renowned high-fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Comme des Garçons, Dior, Marc Jacobs, and Celine.

This immersive encounter with fashion photography showcases rare works from the likes of Nick Knight, Peter Lindbergh, Miles Aldridge, and Juergen Teller, as well as a new generation of talent, including Erik Madigan Heck. It is the first time in the world that this selection of work will be exhibited.

Fashion photography is more than just a disposable picture on a printed page and goes beyond the initial intention of selling fashion and informing potential customers. As Nathalie Herschdorfer, art historian and curator of Beyond Fashion puts it, “it is a form of self-expression, evident now more so than ever with the explosion of street-style blogs and social media.” With Beyond Fashion, ArtisTree and its partners have successfully bridged art, fashion, and food to create a thought-provoking and immersive experience.
